Monroe (La.) Neville Rivals100 defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence has a top two and plans to announce his decision in the very near future.
“Yeah, it’s going to be right after the dead period,” Lawrence said. “I’m going to get a couple of in-home visits. My top schools right now, my top two are LSU and Ohio State and it’s close. I don’t have a leader. I’m going to get the last two in-home visits and then commit.”
Ohio State and LSU will make in-home visits shortly after the dead period ends, and Alabama could also make an in-home visit.
He has already taken an official visit to Ohio State, and may take an official visit to LSU if he commits to the Tigers.
Right now there are a few factors he has at the top of his list.
“The opportunity to play early, a coach who has stability, and somewhere I feel at home,” Lawrence said.
Lawrence is currently ranked No. 96 in the Rivals100, No. 8 among the nation’s defensive tackles, and No. 7 in the Louisiana Top 55.
