Lawrence Miles: Back From USC

La Quinta (Calif.) defensive lineman Lawrence Miles just returned home from his official visit to USC. Miles committed to the Trojans back in November but has decided to take a few trips, ‘just to be sure of his decision.’
“I was at Washington last weekend and I’ll still be going to Arizona State next weekend,” Miles said. “USC was great though, it was the best trip I’ve taken so far. I’ve been there several times before but I had a good time hanging out with the players on the team and the other recruits there.

“I watched a lot film with the coaches to see how my role would be on the team. They thing I could play inside or outside depending on how much bigger I get and that’s fine with me, I just want to play. We went to dinner one night and picked up a couple of new commitments. Then we all went out and had a good time there. It was great but I’m still not ready to end the process just yet.
“Like I said, I’m going to ASU next week and I’m still thinking about Washington. Basically, when I committed, I think I may have committed a little too soon because I didn’t really have anything else to compare it to. I just have to make sure I know what I’m doing and that USC is the best place for me. I’ll take a few days to think about what I’m going to do after my visit to ASU and then I’ll make my decision final.”
