Lauderdale now open but has favorite

Devin Lauderdale backed out of his commitment to Texas Tech this week and it didn't take him long to name a new favorite.
The Rivals250 wide receiver said staff changes in Lubbock were the driving factor behind his decision not to attend Texas Tech next year.

"It was coach [Chad] Scott leaving and the head coach [Tommy Tuberville] leaving," Lauderdale said.
"It was like a brother relationship [with Scott]."
Scott has told 5-foot-11, 170-pound receiver that he will be moving on to Kentucky, but Lauderdale told Scott that he would not follow him to Lexington.
"I'm looking at Notre Dame, Alabama, Oklahoma State, West Virginia and Cal," he said. "I'm leaning to Oklahoma State. I like their passing offense and system they've got."
He will visit Oklahoma State on January 18 and then Notre Dame the following week on January 25.
The Houston (Tex.) Bellaire wide receiver is ranked the No. 211 prospect in the country.
