Latu brothers plan weekday trip

Viliami Latu and his brother, A.J., were offered by San Diego State on Tuesday and the Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., linebackers plan to visit on Thursday.
A commitment is not expected since Latu said he plans to remain patient with the recruiting process but there is definitely some interest in the Aztecs.

The three-star said he plans to play with his brother in college and San Diego State made it a point to offer both on Tuesday.
"They've been talking to me but I really didn't know if they were going to offer me yet," Latu said. "I was at the gym (Tuesday) morning and that's when I talked to them.
"It's still early but they told me to visit them on Thursday. My brother and I are going to visit them and see what the program is like."
So far, Latu has offers from San Diego State, Boise State, Fresno State and Hawaii. The Rancho Cucamonga standout said he's excited about the offers and many other programs are showing interest so recruiting could pick up even more soon.
The 6-foot-2, 225-pound prospect said Arizona State, Colorado, Utah, BYU and New Mexico have all expressed interest recently.
"I like how offers are just coming now," Latu said. "Ever since that one offer came, they're just coming in really quickly. I'm going to have a lot of options and that's really cool.
"We're trying to get a visit to Colorado but we can't find the time. We're trying to set that one up though."
A.J. Latu has been offered by Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon State, San Diego State and Washington so far. The brothers have made it clear they definitely plan to play together at the next level.
