Lattimore stays patient

Despite his Rivals100 ranking and offers from close to 20 schools, Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville athlete Marshon Lattimore has found a way to stay out of the spotlight.
One way the nation's No. 41 ranked prospect has kept the hoopla around his recruitment to a minimum is by putting on the breaks and letting the process come to him.

"[A decision] is way off… I haven't really leaned towards anybody yet," Lattimore said. "I have only been to three schools - Ohio State, Louisville and Georgia Tech."
The visit to Louisville was Lattimore's most recent and that was for a spring practice with teammates Erick Smith and Marcelys Jones.
"It was nice down there," Lattimore said. "I liked how they were so together as one. You didn't see anybody playing as individuals; they were a team."
Lattimore visited Georgia Tech last summer for their early season game against Miami, and he has made several trips to Ohio State over the last year. He has no plans for visits this summer, and does not expect to attend summer camps.
The 6-foot, 185-pound Lattimore estimates his offer total at 18. Among the programs that have offered are Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, N.C. State, Oregon, N.C. State, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, USC and the three schools he has visited.
