Lattier changes his top team

Three-star defensive tackle Demarcus Lattier has a new favorite and may not be waiting much longer before he makes his decision.
The South Garland (Texas) High School defender holds scholarship offers from Boston College, Colorado State, Kansas State, Indiana, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, and Houston. Lattier says that not much has changed except his favorites list.

"Things have kind of shifted there," Lattier who was once favoring Kansas State. "I really am interested in Oklahoma State. I was supposed to go up there this Saturday but they're starting the training to get ready for the season.
"I'll probably just do an official visit there instead this fall."
So what has the Cowboys high on his list?
"Well, I just talk to the coaches quite a bit and I know they're graduating some guys on the defensive line," Lattier said. "I could play early and that's big."
Lattier says he was actually with his teammate Tejay Johnson when he committed to TCU. Nonetheless, Lattier says that he hasn't heard from TCU and though Johnson has talked about playing together, it doesn't seem to be a priority right now.
However, the 6-foot-2, 285-pounder doesn't exactly want to wait around to commit.
"I'd actually like to commit towards the beginning of the season so I don't have any distractions," he said.
Lattier was an honorable mention all-district performer as a junior.
