Last minute change for Rivals100 DT

Irvington, N.J. defensive tackle Nate Robinson has made a last minute change to his visit plans.
"Nate is going to Syracuse this weekend instead of Virginia," said Irvington head coach Gilbert Bragg of his 6-foot-4, 319-pound star. "It was sort of a mutual decision. Nate expressed some concern about playing in a 3-4 defense and Virginia knew that Miami was his favorite. Virginia also got a couple of commitments recently and they're running out of room."

So now the Orangemen will get a chance to sway the nation's No. 1 tackle from the Hurricances. His visit to Miami is set for Dec. 20 and he has Maryland on Jan. 10 and North Carolina on Jan. 17.
"I think he'll take all five of his visits regardless of how Miami goes," he said. "You only get to do this once."
There has been speculation that Robinson might not qualify academically, but Bragg feels that won't be an issue.
"He had a very good first semester and he takes the SAT again in January," he said. "If he keeps his grades up then his old test score should be good enough to qualify, but he wants to take it again to make sure. I think he'll qualify."
