Lasley will take official visits

Jordan Lasley committed to UCLA in late June and soon after USC got seriously involved in his recruitment but recently the Trojans have been quiet.
The Gardena (Calif.) Serra wide receiver said this past weekend at the Battle at the Beach 7on7 tournament that USC hasn't reached out much recently but that Washington is coming on strong and wants to recruit him throughout his senior season.

"I haven't really heard anything from SC," Lasley said. "I'm just staying strong with my commitment to UCLA and Washington has been in a little bit of contact with me. I'm sure they'll look at me more as the season comes.
"They said I had a good summer. They told me congratulations on my commitment but that they're going to be coming after me hard this season."
It sounded like USC could offer shortly after Lasley committed to the Bruins but that has not been the case. Still, the three-star receiver believes the Trojans will get more involved once his season gets underway.
"I thought they would be in more contact with me after the camp but I guess not," Lasley said. "They haven't really called me or called my coach. I think they'll get involved during the season."
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound prospect remains firm in his UCLA commitment. Lasley talks with the coaches often and things are going well with the Bruins although the Serra standout does plan to take official visits during his senior season.
"I'm going to take official visits but I'll probably wait until toward the end of the season, not in the middle," Lasley said. "I want to stay focused on my team. I probably want to take a trip to Utah right now but I don't know where else I want to go.
"Everything is great with UCLA. I talk to coach (Adrian) Klemm and coach (Eric) Yarber once or twice a week. That bond and those conversations are really strong."
