Lasley could land new offer

WESTWOOD, Calif. - Jordan Lasley recently committed to UCLA but that did not stop him from going to USC's camp earlier this week and the Gardena (Calif.) Serra wide receiver felt he did well.
Good enough for an offer is still not sure but the three-star prospect said Friday at the B2G Elite Camp that he feels the Trojans might be close to coming through.

"The USC camp two days ago was really good," Lasley said. "I actually did my thing. I had a lot of great catches and a lot of great routes. I actually had a long talk with (wide receivers) coach Tee Martin and coach (Lane) Kiffin.
"I think they're pretty close to offering. They're supposed to have a meeting and a conversation on that. The USC offer should be coming soon."
Lasley earned his UCLA offer after performing well at its camp last week and he committed to the Bruins hours later.
However, the Serra standout said he grew up a fan of the Trojans and that Martin has made it clear he'll continue the recruiting process even though Lasley has pledged somewhere else, not an uncommon practice for hot prospects.
"Growing up, I was always a USC fan so I don't really know (if I get offered)," Lasley said. "I would still be committed but I would definitely be thinking about it as well.
"Coach Tee wanted to see me in person. He doesn't show too much care about my commitment or anything. He still wants me. He still wants to recruit me. He said I did really well and he just wanted to see me in person."
So far, Lasley has been offered by UCLA, Boise State, Colorado State, Indiana, Nevada, San Diego State, San Jose State and Utah.
