Las Vegas gem fields more offers

Las Vegas, Nev., is becoming a very popular place for D-I recruiters. One of the reasons why is Las Vegas high school’s star wide receiver Corey Williams (6-3, 185, 4.5).
Williams has brought Las Vegas high to the attention of schools that have never recruited Las Vegas before. Williams received the first recruiting letter ever from the Florida Gators.
Schools like Michigan, Wisconsin, Miami, Nebraska, Washington, Washington State, UCLA, Oregon State, Arizona, ASU, UNLV, Utah and Utah State are just a sampling of the schools that came by Las Vegas high school this past May.
Williams received phone calls from ASU, Washington, Washington State, UCLA, Oregon State, Texas Tech, UNLV, Colorado State, BYU and more.
Williams now has offers on the table from UNLV, Oregon State, Washington and Washington State.
The interest in Williams is warranted. He’s hard worker who has improved his bench to 275 from 240 and his forty time to 4.5 from 4.58. He has also recently increased his vertical jump from 33-inches to 35. Williams was able to improve his numbers while also participating in track.
Williams was able to juggle his workout schedule with school and track where he participated in the state meet in the 110HH, triple jump, long jump and high jump.
Williams has been selected to the all-division team for the last two years. His career numbers are impressive, catching 85 passes for 1,369 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Williams fits the mold of the modern prototype wide receiver that has size, speed and can jump. He runs outstanding patterns and makes the tough catch.
Look for Williams to garner even more offers in the very near future. Few wide receivers have the complete package that Williams brings to the table.
