Larose claims two offers

Offensive tackle Moise Larose is a name to watch. Offers are starting to come in for the 6-foot-5, 285-pounder out of Fort George Meade (Md.) Meade lineman. Who's pulled the trigger to date?
"I had a couple colleges that came by and asked to see me," he said. "I also have a couple junior days coming up to Maryland, Rutgers, East Carolina, Duke and Boston College. The earliest of those is late January and the latest one is February.

"I know a bit about some of them, but I haven't been to Boston College or East Carolina yet. I just want to go to the schools and see if they have my major, forensic science or criminal justice. I also just want to see a great school."
At this stage, Larose claims two offers from East Carolina and Boston College.
Meanwhile, Larose feels Maryland and Rutgers are close.
"They are both very interested," he said. "Rutgers said they will offer me, but I'm just waiting. Maryland said once I came to the junior day they may offer me then."
According to Larose, one school sticks out.
"I'm a big fan of college football, but I really want to go to Maryland," he said. "They are close and they are the No. 1 school in forensic science. That goes well with what I want to be."
Larose earned second team all-metro, first team all-county and first team all-state honors as a junior this season.
"The season went great," he said. "Our team finished just above .500 for the first time in a decade."
So, what sticks out about the lineman right now?
"I'm a hard worker," he said. "My work ethic is great and I try to be the best."
