Larkins on verge of BCS offer

Madison Heights, Michigan wide receiver Danny Larkins has received several offers from schools in the Mid-American Conference but he now believes he's closer than ever to his first offer from a BCS school.
The school is Cincinnati, and according to Larkins, there's good reason to believe the Bearcats are on the cusp of offering.

"I think it's coming," Larkins said this week. "Yesterday they talked to me and said they're probably going to offer."
What does the 5-foot-11, 185-pound receiver think about Cincinnati?
"They're good," he said. "They're alright."
Larkins has never visited the Big East school but he said that's on his agenda for the coming weeks.
The last school Larkins visited was Michigan State.
"It went good," he recalled. "I didn't do too much, really. We just walked around. I didn't do the camp."
Larkins is also hoping to visit Toledo, Bowling Green, Michigan State and Iowa prior to the start of his senior season.
Last fall Larkins caught 36 passes for 813 yards and six scores in just six games.
