Merrillville, Ind., defensive tackle Dexter Larimore attended a number of football camps this summer and has a few scholarship offers to show for his work.
"I went to camps at Indiana, Northwestern, Purdue, Michigan, Ohio State, Illinois, and Michigan State," Larimore said. "They were all pretty good.
"Ball State, Western Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois have offered me.
"Right now I'm keeping things open. I'm still getting recruited for wrestling too.
"I'm going to as many games as I can. I'm going to try and go to a game every Saturday. I'm going to try and get to a Michigan game, an Ohio State game, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan State games.
"I'm not close to deciding right now. It will be a month, maybe two before I decide."
The 6-foot-3 and 265-pound Larimore is the No. 8 prospect in the state of Indiana in the Rivals.com player rankings. Larimore registered eight sacks during his junior season.
