Larimore makes Big Ten and MAC visits

Merrillville, Ind., defensive lineman Dexter Larimore is one of the top two-way linemen in the Hoosier state. Larimore starts at both defensive tackle and offensive guard, but is being recruited primarily for his defensive talents.
The 6-foot-3, 265 pound Larimore, who has already earned 11 varsity letters, registered eight sacks during his junior season. He was an all-conference, all area, and junior all-state selection.

Larimore, who is also on the Merrillville wrestling and track teams, bench presses 380 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds.
Not surprisingly, plenty of recruiters are showing interest.
"I get six to 10 letters a day from colleges," Larimore said. "I like Michigan, Ohio State, Indiana, and let's see, Northwestern and Illinois. And also Ball State.
"The only offer I've got so far is from Ball State.
"I visited Michigan, Purdue, Indiana, and Northern Illinois and Ball State.
"My top three are Michigan, Ohio State, and Indiana. I get mail from all three of them."
