Lanky TE Has Two Leaders

Estero, Fla. standout Micah Rucker might be built more like a basketball player than a college tight end right now, but that hasn't stopped a few schools from offering the talented 6-foot-6, 185-pounder. Now it seems that two leaders have emerged.
"I have offers from South Carolina, Pitt, Michigan State, Clemson and Wake Forest so far," said Rucker, who pulled down 36 passes for 600 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior. "Right now Pitt and Michigan State stand out to me the most."

Despite having two favorites, Rucker isn't sure where he'll take his official visits.
"I didn't get to camp at any schools this summer although I have seen Pitt," he said. "I'm not going to decide until around Signing Day and I want to see who else offers me."
And what does he like about his leaders?
"I really liked the facilities at Pitt, they were awesome," he said. "I have a good feel for the coaches at both schools and they are writing me some pretty good letters. They seem to be recruiting me the hardest."
Despite his 6-foot-6 frame, Rucker feels he will be a wide receiver in college.
