Lankford impressed with latest visit
McKeesport (Pa.) McKeesport Area safety Ray Lankford pushed up his official visit to Iowa by a week and saw the Hawkeyes up close this past weekend. Is he ready to decide?
"I had a good trip out there," said the 6-foot-2, 205-pounder. "I was hosted by Marcus Paschal and the whole team was cool. It was as good as I expected it to be. They've always been one of my top teams.

"I'm not ready to decide yet, probably in early or mid-January," he said. "I have another official visit to take this weekend. I'm going to UConn."
Lankford had Syracuse in his house on Monday and Iowa and Boston College were set to visit his home this week as well.
"I'm interested in what all the coaches have to say," he said. "I have a lot of questions to ask and I want to make sure I make the right choice."
