Isaiah Langley has landed some major offers in recent weeks. the call from Florida State truly made this a special week for the Pleasanton (Calif.) Foothill cornerback.
"You have to separate them with all the other offers I have just because that's an offer from a national championship team right there," Langley said. "You have to put them in a separate category. I definitely am considering all the offers I have but that's on a different level right there."
The four-star cornerback, who looked good at the Army National Combine, said he had not been talking much with the Florida State staff, but the Seminoles will be seriously considered moving forward.
"That was actually a surprise," Langley said. "I had never been in contact with them until (Monday) and they pulled the trigger. I've been involved with some coaches who just saw my film and Florida State was one of them who finally saw it and they decided to offer me."
The Northern California standout has been one of the hottest recruits in the state.
So far, Langley has offers from Arizona State, California, Colorado, Florida State, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Oregon State, San Jose State, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
Even though Langley, who has new interest coming in from Miami, Kansas and Houston, plans to graduate early, he said it's still a little premature to narrow his list. That could be coming soon though.
"I'm looking to narrow it down to my top seven soon probably at the end of the school year," Langley said. "I'm actually in the process of graduating early so I want to wrap up this recruiting process sooner. That's something I have to consider.
"I'm wide open. I'm just taking it all in. I'm still considering all my offers."
