Langley: Cal will make cut

Isaiah Langley had a date in early June planned to cut down his extensive list but it sounds like the four-star cornerback is going to back off that and take more time to figure things out.
"I had a date, June 2, but this recruiting process is getting really hectic right now," Langley said.

"My father has given me the choice but I think I'm going to wait on that. I'm going to wait until I'm solid with a top 10 or a top five. We'll see how it goes."
The Pleasanton (Calif.) Foothill standout has nearly 30 offers and said he doesn't want to cut anybody off his list until he's absolutely sure he has the right teams in place. Langley doesn't think that will happen by June 2.
One team - Cal - will definitely make the cut and that's huge for the Golden Bears.
With offers from teams across the country including the national champs, Florida State, and many others, Langley wants to keep Cal among his favorites for a bunch of reasons.
"Cal is definitely going to make the cut," Langley said.
"Cal is going to make that top five just because it's at home and they were also my first offer. I have to give them the respect and common courtesy to always consider them. I really like that staff and it's 20 minutes away so they'll definitely make it.
"If I didn't get that offer my recruitment wouldn't be going like it is now."
Rated as the No. 13 cornerback in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, Langley said UCLA and Ole Miss are two others especially coming after him. The Bruins are pressing Langley to take a visit soon and he definitely appreciates the attention.
"UCLA has been reaching out a lot and Ole Miss," Langley said. "They've been showing me a lot of love along with Cal.
"Like all the schools they're trying to get me down on a visit. They're trying to get me down and really recruiting me pretty hard."
