Lang waits for offers from favorites

Wide receiver Sherman Lang of Melbourne (Fla.) Air Academy holds three offers from out-of-state schools, but the three-star prospect has a favorites list that goes beyond those programs.
The schools on top for Lang at this point include schools that have yet to offer, but the 6-foot, 162-pound receiver is confident that it will change in the near future.

"Louisville, Florida State, Pittsburgh, Florida, and Georgia are my top five right now," Lang said. "Louisville has talked about offering and they told me to keep doing well in my games and they would offer then. Pittsburgh said the same thing."
Another important factor is finding out where some of his high school teammates will be attending college.
"I'd like to go to school with my teammates because they're looking at the same schools I am," Lang said. "We're talking about it right now and figuring out where we want to go visit."
Lang explained that he will start working on schools he would like to visit within the next few weeks. Some schools have already called him in the month of September to check up on him about those possible trips.
"Yeah, Louisivlle, Pittsburgh, Central Florida, and Ole Miss all called," Lang said. "We all talked about the same though. They just told me they were watching me and to keep my grades up."
The receiver is also filling in at quarterback this year for his team and so far things are going well.
"We're 2-1 and I'm doing what I can to help the team," he said. "We're winning, so I guess I'm doing okay."
