The 6-foot-2, 172-pound wideout was impressed by the visit.
"It was good," Lane said. "I got to meet a lot of people including all of their coaches. They treated me real good. I met some of the players and they treated me like I was a little brother."
Lane had an opportunity to speak with Nick Saban and a number of his assistant coaches. He spoke a bit about their conversations.
"I met with Coach Saban and talked with him," Lane said. "He was just telling me about the school and the academics. He also told me how everything goes there.
"They talked about how they have a freshman quarterback coming in and that if I was to go there he would help me because both of us would be young," Lane added.
At the end of the day, Lane was very impressed by the time he spent around the defending National Champions.
"Everything about Alabama impressed me," Lane said. "Everything is good about the school."
Entering the visit, Lane was very high on Florida State and Miami. He now puts Alabama alongside that in-state pair.
"They are high up there," Lane said. "Alabama is now right there with those two. They are all the same."
Lane is currently visiting Florida State and expected to camp with the Seminoles on Thursday. He plans to then make his way to Florida for Friday Night Lights on July 27th to camp with the Gators.
