Landstown RB nabs two new offers

Virginia Beach (Va.) Landstown may be known for some of the top talent in the country this year with wide receivers Percy Harvin and Damon McDaniel, but running back Quinton Rainey is also making a name for himself. The 5-foot-11, 220-pounder has picked up two more offers recently and has begun setting up official visits.
"I got offers from Marshall and Kent a few weeks back," he said. "They both want me for running back and I think they are good schools. I plan to take officials to both of them in late November some time. Hopefully I can find out more on their programs and get attached to them."

Rainey has scheduled another one of his officials with Maryland on December 17th.
"I hope to just see more about all these programs to see how much I like them," he said. "My other two visits probably will go to North Carolina in December and North Carolina State in January since they are my leaders. I've been fans of those schools for a really long time and I like the way their coaches talk to me. They both keep telling me how they'll utilize me."
Rainey has received interest from one new school recently.
"Virginia Tech has been showing some interest and they want me to play running back," he said. "They came into the picture in the last week or so and mentioned that they plan to offer me. I've been to their school so I see no need to take an official, but I'll consider them."
This season the No. 27 player in Virginia has helped Landstown to an impressive 7-0 season so far.
