Landry is on the scene

He may not have been discovered quite as fast as other top prospects, but Beaumont (Texas) Westbrook offensive tackle Nick Landry is on the map now.
UTEP was the first school to offer the 6-foot-5, 265-pound Landry with schools like Texas Tech, Houston, Oklahoma State, and Iowa State in hot pursuit. However, Landry doesn't want to play the guessing game on who could be the next school to offer.

"It's been surprising with all this interest and real exciting," Landry said. "I don't know, I think a few schools could be close. I don't know where I want to go though, but right now I really like Texas Tech. They called in May to see what was going on."
Landry is not sure about a decision, but LSU, Texas Tech, Texas, and UTEP could be visit stops for the honorable mention all-district selection. His next camp stop will be to one of his favorites.
"I'm trying to go to the LSU camp next week or so," he said. "Other than that, I don't know right now."
