Lambert is still wide open

Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek linebacker Quanzell Lambert is up to 17 verbal offers but he doesn't appear to be anywhere near ready to start to narrow down his list.
Lambert has visited Penn State, Rutgers and Maryland, but that still leaves more than a dozen schools that have offered that he has not visited yet.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pound prospect, who is being recruited as a linebacker by all the schools he is hearing from, told Rivals.com over the weekend what his plan is moving forward.
"I think I'm going to try to go to a practice at Penn State next weekend," Lambert said. "That's if we don't have a track meet.
"I'm going to try to go to UConn, Boston College, and Pitt, too. Those should be around April, around spring break."
Lambert has only been able to visit schools in the region, and it might be a while before he's ready to visit schools that aren't nearly as close to home.
"I'll start to (narrow his list) after I've visited the majority of schools that have offered," Lambert concluded.
An early member of the Rivals250 to Watch for 2012, Lambert does not have any favorites.
