Lamar Miller talks recruiting

One of the top rated running back prospects from the Sunshine State is Lamar Miller. Miller, 5-11 and 203 pounds, has rushed 336 yards in two games so far for Miami (Fla.) Killian High School. He also rushed for 227 yards and two scores in a big win against North Miami Beach in last Thursday's win.
"That was a big one," Miller said. "We have to keep the momentum going."

Miller has outstanding skills and is widely regarded as one of the country's finest backs. He has superior speed, good vision, balance and hits the hole with authority. Despite all his skills, there is much to work on within his overall game.
"I have worked hard this off-season and I really feel like I have improved my blocking skills, especially when picking up the blitz. I have also worked on my hands and catching the football."
One of the biggest recruiting questions out there is who will Lamar Miller sign with come National Signing Day. Right now Miller says there are seven schools in the running.
"I like Florida State, Florida, Miami, LSU, UCF, Rutgers, and West Virginia.
"I have not seen FSU this season but I like how they run their offense. They use the I formation and I like how they use their running backs.
"I have been to a few Florida games. It's a great atmosphere at the Swamp. I just went to the Florida/Miami game. I like the spread and the coaches are cool with players. They are like a family.
"I also like Miami. They have such a great tradition of players, especially all the great running backs from that school. And I also like how they use their backs.
"I also like LSU. They always seem like they have great running backs. Of course they just won the National Championship.
"West Virginia is a good school and I liked how they used (Noel) Devine and (Steve) Slaton last season. They have a great offensive line as well and I like (Doc) Holiday.
"Rutgers has a good running game and I like how they used Ray Rice. I mean that guy got 30 carries a game.
"UCF is another school that really uses their backs well. I like their offense and their backs get the ball a ton."
Miller has not set up any official visits yet and plans to towards the end or after the season.
