Lake Taylor is home to two 2007 O-linemen

Norfolk (Va.) Lake Taylor is home to two offensive line recruits in offensive tackle Damion Church and offensive guard Aaron Flowers. One player has started to receive college interest, while the other is still trying to get recognized.
"Damion has started getting mail from Penn State, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State and Notre Dame," said Lake Taylor assistant coach Steve Versprille. "I know he really likes Notre Dame a lot and they are definitely his leader."

The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Church is a big prospect on the field.
"He is a very intense blocker and is smart too," he said. "He knows where he's supposed to be and gets the job done. He's got a lot of leadership on the field also.
"Last year was his first year starting for us and he's still developing. I saw a big improvement over the season as he has gotten stronger and just a whole lot better. I could easily see him put on at least 25 more pounds. Besides that, he's a very intelligent guy with good grades."
Flowers on the other hand is more of a sleeper prospect at this point.
"He's a very athletic player and a good blocker," he said. "Right now he's 6-foot-1, 280-pounders, but I see him probably growing a couple more inches. There is definitely room for him to grow.
"As a prospect, he looks very good. His ability to block really stands out and he has come a long way in a year."
Flowers hasn't received any college interest yet, but Versprille expects it to come.
"Once film gets out on him and people see him in person they'll know he's a good blocker," he said. "I have no doubt he's a Division I prospect."
