Lair close to third offer

Two scholarship offers are in hand, but Houston Lamar tight end prospect Eric Lair may be closing in on his third after this week.
Lair, who has had numerous college coaches drop by the school, says that he heard from his coach that Nebraska could be the next to offer. The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder says that other schools such as Texas and SMU have also come by to check him out.

"My coach said that Nebraska seems like they may offer," Lair said. "They came out I think yesterday or the day before yesterday."
Lair says that TCU is the one school recruiting him the hardest despite not offering yet. He's also thinking about his summer camp plans.
"I might go out to Oklahoma's camp, the Oklahoma State camp, to Houston, and Baylor," Lair said. "I think that's it for right now. Then I'll probably make a decision in the summer time. It will probably be right before school starts – either during or after the 7-on-7 (tournaments)."
So is there a leader for Lair going into the summer?
"No, I don't have any favorites right now," he said. "Not even a top five or top three yet."
