LaFell back from Florida, ready to announce

Houston Lamar receiver Brandon LaFell is back from a whirlwind official visit to Florida, a visit that lasted around 24 hours because of flight delays in the Southeast. But LaFell, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound three-star receiver, said the short amount of time didn't put a damper on his time in Gainesville.
"I'm getting off the plane now," LaFell said. "The trip was great, their stadium is hard to turn down and the players were really cool. Coach Meyer is really fired up about being there.

"Their coaches are talking to me about playing both ways. If not, then I'll probably just play receiver."
LaFell, who also visited LSU, Arizona, Missouri and Nebraska, said his decision is down to two schools.
"At this point it's between LSU and Florida," he said. "I'll make my decision tomorrow."
That decision will be at a 6:30 p.m. cst news conference at a local restaurant in Houston.
