Ladler has eye on SEC program

It might be too early for Khalil Ladler to have a clear frontrunner in his recruitment but the 2016 four-star cornerback said one school in particular does have his early attention.
The Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson prospect said last week at the Elite 50 Experience in Orlando that LSU stands out a little especially after he took an unofficial visit there recently.

There is one particular thing about the Tigers that impresses Ladler the most - and since he's a defensive back it especially has him looking into that program.
"I'm still taking my time looking around and making sure which school is going to be the right fit for me," Ladler said.
"I just really like LSU. It's not my top school but I really do like them. I like the DB history and how many DBs they put in the NFL."
The Tigers cannot be considered a favorite yet since Ladler doesn't want to go that far but the four-star has done some homework on the program and he's definitely excited to see where his recruitment goes.
So far, the Stone Mountain Stephenson recruit has been offered by Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&Mand many others.
"I've researched (LSU) on my own," Ladler said. "It comes up sometime how many DBs they put in the NFL. I took a visit there last summer and it's very nice."
Ladler has already visited LSU, Georgia and Florida State and it seems the Tigers have most of his early attention. The four-star said he would like to visit USC and Oregon before making any commitment.
Rivals.com rates Ladler as the fourth-best cornerback and the No. 70 prospect in the 2016 class.
