Lacys list continues to grow

Kenny Lacy said Alabama, Cal and Michigan State have started to show interest and the 2013 offensive tackle from Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe is encouraged since this was his first season playing varsity.
Recruiting is going well for Lacy, who already has two offers, and is now hearing from even more major programs.

"I sat out my sophomore year so this was my first year really starting varsity," Lacy said. "My freshman year I got pulled up pretty late so I think everything is going to come pretty soon.
"It's really good right now. I just got invited to the Under Armour combine in Orlando but I'm going to miss that because I got the invitation pretty late. I will be attending the U.S. Army combine though so I should get a lot better."
So far, the 6-foot-5, 250-pound recruit lists offers from Arizona and Purdue and many other schools including Arizona State, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee, UCLA are showing interest.
After talking with some new assistant coaches recently, Lacy is encouraged that all three programs will continue to show interest as his recruitment continues. It's definitely another positive development for him.
"Michigan State's coach said they're losing two tackles this year and three next year so from my class he wants some guys to come in and play early," Lacy said.
"The Cal coach is saying I'm one of the top recruits on their board so that's good. With Alabama, I'm just getting some letters from them right now. They've been sending me a lot of letters."
