Lacy has early Pac-12 favorite

Even though Kenny Lacy is a 2013 prospect, he has already picked up offers from Arizona and Purdue and is hearing from some of the top programs across the country.
On that list are Oregon, UCLA, Nebraska, Tennessee, Michigan, Michigan State and Vanderbilt and Lacy, a 6-foot-5, 250-pound prospect, said the Ducks stand out the most early on. Michigan and Michigan State are also making an impression.

"I think my favorite right now is Oregon," Lacy said. "Michigan and Michigan State are also up there. I like (Oregon's) style of offense, how they play. They really hurry up and they do a lot of stuff offensively and defensively that I like.
"I like the tradition at both of those schools (Michigan and Michigan State). Michigan has always been big for football and Michigan State is big-time this year."
The Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe prospect has already taken unofficial visits to Arizona and Arizona State. The Wildcats have offered but he wants to see who they hire as their next coach and he's definitely interested in Arizona State but it hasn't offered yet.
"I'm not really too sure about that yet," Lacy said of Arizona. "I'll be going back down on November 5 for a home game against Utah. I'll get to talk to the coaches and see what the deal is, what's going on over there.
"I like it at Arizona State. They're having a good year. It's pretty nice and it's close to home so that would be cool that my family would be able to see me a lot."
Lacy's second offer came from Purdue recently and he said he's interested in the Boilermakers but doesn't know a whole lot about the program yet.
The Phoenix prospect is talking with graduate assistant coach Jules Montinar so far throughout his recruitment.
"I've been talking to their coach for the last five weeks," Lacy said. "He's been asking how my games have been going. He told me to call him and he said he saw my film and they wanted to offer me."
