La Marque, Texas, receiver Keith Dickerson is a name that’s quickly flying up the recruiting charts. With scholarship offers from Pittsburgh and Arizona, Dickerson has as solid core of teams he wants to visit and even a few leaders.
“I’m getting weekly calls from Texas, Texas A&M, Pittsburgh, Kansas State, Arizona and TCU,” he said. “I’m likely going to visit UT, A&M, Pittsburgh, K-State and TCU. I don’t have any dates yet, but that’s mainly because we’re still playing.”
And hopefully, La Marque will still be playing in deep in the Texas state playoffs. And even though he isn’t happy with the number of catches he’s getting, Dickerson still leads his team with 13 catches for 352 yards and six touchdowns. He’s averaging an impressive 27.1 yards a catch.
“I want the ball more,” he said. “They don’t throw it to me enough.”
Dickerson said Texas, which has offered him an opportunity to gray-shirt, and Pittsburgh are his top two teams. But don’t expect him to pick soon.
“I’m going to see some schools,” he said.
