LA defensive tackle getting looks

Los Angeles Washington defensive tackle Lavon McCoy is one of the best defensive players in the City Section in Los Angeles. The 6-foot-3, 338-pounder has been dominating, despite seeing double and often triple team blockers.
"I've been doing really good," McCoy said. "I've done better than last year. I think I have around 30 tackles and like 10 to 12 sacks."

At this point, McCoy said he's still officially searching for his first scholarship offers, but he's also working hard to make sure he's academically eligible. That's still not stopped a lot of schools from staying in contact with him.
"I'm hearing from USC, LSU, Cal, Oregon, Washington State, Washington and Arizona," McCoy said. "I haven't really set up any visits yet. I've just been keeping my mind on our games right now."
But when he does start to set up visits, he's looking at LSU and possible Oregon and Washington.
"Probably the furthest I'd like to get away from home would be Oregon, unless I go to LSU," he said.
