Darrington Sentimore is one of the South's top defensive line prospects. Sentimore, 6-3.5 and 280 pounds, is from Destrahan (La.) High School. Last season as a junior he recorded 124 tackles and 15 sacks.
"Spring went well," Sentimore said. "I got quicker and stronger off the ball and worked on different stuff like that. I am fast, strong and to the quick to the ball. I use my hands well and I play the run and pass equally well."
According to Sentimore he has a "couple of dozen (scholarship) offers." For now he claims no leader and open among many schools.
"I have not decided on anything. I like schools like Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, LSU, Miami, Florida, Texas, and Auburn. They have all offered.
"I will do what I have to do in terms of where I decide to go. I want to play early and playing time will be the biggest factor."
Thus far Sentimore has unofficially visited LSU, Mississippi State, and Arkansas.
"I will get out this summer and go see some places. I may try and go to a few camps."
