Kyles hoping for big weekend

Milledgeville (Ga.) Baldwin defensive back Jarvis Kyles has not gotten as many offers as his brother Nick, but he has picked up three impressive offers already and more will likely follow.
“Right now I have offers from Florida, Auburn and Tennessee in writing,” Kyles said. “My coach said that Georgia Tech told him that they were going to offer, but I have not seen anything in writing yet so I’m not sure if they have offered yet. For now though I won’t list them as an offer since I am not sure.”

Kyles attended the NIKE camp in Atlanta where he came in at 6-foot-0 and weighed 173 pounds. He ran a solid 4.6 second 40-yard dash and had a 4.44 second shuttle. He also did 13 reps on the bench press and had a 31-inch vertical jump.
“Right now I would say that Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida, Clemson, Tennessee and Auburn are my top schools,” Kyles said. “I don’t really have a leader and I look at all of those about the same. If Georgia offered they might be on top though.”
Kyles will have the opportunity to earn himself an offer from the Bulldogs this weekend as he attends their mini-camp on Friday. He will then head down to Gainesville on Saturday for Florida’s camp.
“I really want to get an offer from Georgia after this weekend,” Kyles said. “Me and my brother kind of want to go to the same place and we want to see what all of the same offers we have though. If Georgia offered it would make things a lot easier for us to decide I think.”
As a junior for the 4-A Baldwin Braves, Kyles collected 90 tackles, 14 pass-breakups and four interceptions.
“I want to take all of my official visits,” Kyles said. “I am waiting to see who all offers me so that I can see if it will be possible for me and my brother to go to the same school. I am still meeting coaches and seeing campuses right now.”
