Kwiatkoski finally goes public

Nick Kwiatkoski made his college decision a long time ago but he hasn't gone public with it until now.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound safety from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania has been committed to a Big East school for a couple of months and has done a good job of keeping that news under the radar, even though that wasn't necessarily his intent.

"I actually committed to West Virginia a while ago, probably sometime in March," Kwiatkoski said. "I guess it just got out now."
Over the past couple of months Kwiatkoski has become even more confident in his decision. He said he is solidly committed to the Mountaineers and will not be looking at other options.
Why did he choose West Virginia in the first place?
"When I visited I just felt at home," he said. "I felt great around the coaches. Also, I really like the stack defense they run. I think I would be a good fit in that."
Kwiatkoski said he is being recruited by the Mountaineers as a safety with the potential to eventually move to linebacker depending on how he develops.
He had also visited Boston College and said his decision came down to BC and West Virginia.
