Kuempel hearing from an SEC power

Marion, Iowa three star ranked offensive tackle prospect Andy Kuempel (6-foot-7, 250 pounds) has been enjoying Linn Mar's 2-1 start so far this season.
“So far we are 2-1 on the season," Andy Kuempel said. "It's been going pretty well for us, and this week we face Cedar Rapids Prairie, and they are state ranked. The season is just flying by this year, that's for sure."

Kuempel has continued to receive calls from several colleges in September, yet one SEC power has definitely picked things up over the last few weeks.
"I'm getting steady calls from Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Miami of Ohio and now Florida has been calling over the last few weeks. I also received an earlier call from Oregon as well."
Kuempel has also been able to fit in several college games so far this season.
"I've been to the University of Iowa for the Iowa State/Iowa game as well as the Kent State/Iowa game. On Saturday i was at the Northern Illinois/Iowa State game. It was a sloppy game on both sides, but it was also an exciting game as well. I really had a good time at Iowa State and I was also able to talk with the Iowa State coaches after the game."
Kuempel has yet to set any official visits, but has a time-frame in mind.
"I've sent out a bunch of early senior tape to several schools, and once I've gotten back feedback from the coaches, that's when I'll start to set some official visits. I'll most likely wait to so that until about mid-season or so."
