Kuale rejoins Tiger signee list

Dodge City (Kan.) Community College linebacker E.J. Kuale signed with LSU in December. Then a transcript problem forced him back to the Jayhawk Conference school. Today, he followed through with his intentions to head to the Southeast Conference program.
“E.J. is the only kid we had sign a Division I-A letter today,” Dodge City coach John Rosetti said today. “He was there in December but did not graduate. He came back here for the spring semester to retake a class. He’s improving that class and he’ll graduate in May.”

Kuale did not waver in his desire to go to LSU.
“He’s been headed there since he got back here for this semester. He just needed to correct the grade in that class, but he’s on course for that now. He signed the letter this morning and faxed it in to LSU this morning.”
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Kuale earned All-Jayhawk Conference honors in 2003.
