KU, MU likely to get visits from RB

One of the leading rushers in the Dallas Metroplex has been put on the shelf the last few weeks because of an injury, but it looks like it’s going to be this week when he gets back in action. So what type of game can we expect McKinney (Texas) North standout Shannon Woods to have?

“He got into a really bad jam against Paris and didn’t do too well,” his father, James Woods, said. “And that caused him to not do too well against Dennison. He only played like seven or eight snaps and he didn’t end up playing last week. But he should be back this week and again next week against Greenville.”

Still the injury hasn’t stopped the colleges from showing interest.

Woods has an offer from Kansas and is getting recruited by Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Texas Tech and Wake Forest.

“Utah was the latest to inquire about him and get some film,” his father said. “And Kansas and Missouri want him to come up for a visit some time in December, but nothing has been set up.”
