Kouandjio lands offer after cross-country visit

Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha offensive tackle Arie Kouandjio made a cross-country trip this past weekend. The visit resulted in the 6-foot-6, 314-pounder's sixteenth scholarship offer.
"I went to California for their junior day," he said. "It was a really good visit. I really liked the school and football team. I liked the weather and sun too.

"I got there on Saturday and went to the junior day. I really liked it, the coaches and the players there. I talked to Coach Marshall a lot and met with Coach Tedford. At the end of the day, I got an offer from him.
What did Kouandjio think about the latest offer?
"That's pretty big, but I think all my offers are pretty big."
Currently Kouandjio has no other visits planned at this time in the near future.
However, last weekend Kouandjio took one other trip to Connecticut.
"Connecticut was real nice too," he said. "I really liked the coaches and how they treated me. I did talk to Coach Edsall and Coach Moorhead, I really like them."
