Knoxville Quite Nice For Star LB

Virginia Beach (Va.) Princess Anne defensive end/linebacker Kai Parham thought Knoxville, Tenn. would be in the middle of nowhere. He was pleasantly surprised.
“It reminded me of home,” said the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder. “It was a lot nicer than I thought and I loved the atmosphere. I enjoyed the trip a whole lot.”

Parham took an unofficial visit this past weekend to see the Vols defeat South Carolina. So where does this leave his top five list?
“I’ve only been to Florida State on an official visit so I still need to take some official trips,” he said. “Tennessee is right up there now. They’re a little behind Virginia still, but I’ll know more after I take my official visits to Florida, Stanford and Tennessee. I’ve seen both Virginia and Virginia Tech quite a bit, but I’ll probably take an official visit to one of them.”
Parham’s team is 4-4 this season and he’s coming off a 20 tackle game with five for a loss and one sack.
