Cornerback Miguel Scott had planned on taking all five visits before making a decision. The heavily recruited player from Miami (Fla.) Killian has already been to NC State and most recently visited the Garden State and Rutgers University. Did either trip speed up the process for him?
"Rutgers was a lot of fun. I enjoyed going into the city and hanging out with the players and other recruits. I thought that the facilities were really nice and I like the coaching staff. NC State was also a really nice place and was very impressive."
Miguel is listing Rutgers and NC State as his favorites, but it's still early in the process.
"I guess those two schools lead because they're the only schools I visited so far. I really can't comment on any other school until I take my visits."
The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder still has visits left with Florida (Jan. 10) and Ohio State (Jan. 17) and could even add another. Georgia and Iowa State are being considered for his last trip.
Scott finished the season with 65 tackles, three interceptions and five pass break-ups. He's not in a hurry to end the recruiting process.
"I'll probably wait until the end to decide."
