Junior To Watch: Chazz Lynn
School: Wayne (N.J.) Wayne Hills

Position: Cornerback
Size and speed: Chazz is 5-foot-10 and weighs 170 pounds. He runs a 4.5-second 40-yard dash with a 31-inch vertical jump.
Honors: All-county, all-area, all-league
Statistics: As a junior cornerback Chazz made 80 total tackles with five interceptions and 15 pass breakups. From his tailback position he rushed for 900 yards on only 100 carries with six touchdowns.
Favorite schools: At the moment Chazz is listing Texas, Iowa, Oregon, Rutgers, Virginia and Maryland as his top six schools. He has an offer from Rutgers.
Skinny: Although Lynn is an excellent running back, he really shines as a pure cover corner with excellent closing speed. With great instincts and a nose for the ball, Chazz will be considered one of the top players in the state this upcoming season.
“I’m not sold on any one school just yet so I plan on taking my visits and I’ll consider all my options.”
With very good football speed he can turn and run with speedy wideouts and has superb open-field tackling skills. Not only can he play as a press corner, but he can also cover a lot of ground, which is a very big part of playing in the defensive backfield at the next level.
“I consider myself a man-to-man cover guy. I don’t mind getting in someone's face.”
Chazz should have plenty of offers coming his way very soon and he’s hoping to get looks from schools across the country.
“I really like Rutgers a lot and they were the first school to offer and that goes a long way. Plus it’s my home state school, but I’m also interested in Texas a lot. I just always liked their tradition. As far as some others, Iowa and Oregon are two schools that I’ve followed for awhile and I want to give them both a good hard look.”
Two other schools that have caught the eye of this outstanding player are Virginia and Maryland.
“I like that part of the country, both Virginia and Maryland are kind of close to home and I like the ACC conference. I think I have an advantage when it comes to recruiting because my head coach, Mr. Olsen, is very knowledgeable when it comes to that.”
