Knight ready for trip with teammates

Rashad Knight is getting ready to take a tour of some college campuses before fall camp starts. Knight, a four star prospect from Jacksonville Trinity Christian High School, leaves on Thursday with teammates and some coaches. They will head north to Knoxville. Vanderbilt, Tennessee State, South Carolina, Clemson, Georgia, Florida State, Alabama, and Florida are also on the potential visit list for this trip.
"I am not sure of our first stop but I think it's Tennessee," Knight said. "I am supposed to talk about it tomorrow with our coaches. It looks like we will be on the road from 30th thru the 2nd. I'm excited because I will get to see a lot of places I haven't seen yet."

Knight can play anywhere in the secondary. He is looking now to play safety at the next level. Most teams like him at that position while others also see him as a cornerback. Meanwhile, he will also play running back and wide receiver this season.
One team that wanted to see his cover skills was Florida State. He camped with the Seminoles specifically so defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews could see him in man coverage.
"I went to Seminole Showtime and I think did well. After, the coaches spoke highly to me about my performance. I asked them about a potential offer and they said they would get back to me. Coach Andrews said he wanted to see me in man coverage. I think it's a situation I could hear from them any day now. If they offered FSU would definitely be near the top. I mean I would need to re-evaluate things for sure."
Knight says he's open in the process now but there are a few teams he knows he wants to see this fall for sure.
"It looks like right now that I will visit Illinois, Michigan and Vanderbilt for sure. I mean I am strongly considering those schools."
Trinity Christian opens up with Ed White High School next month.
