Knight in no rush

Bratt (Fla.) Northview defensive tackle Sean Knight has landed early offers from Florida International, Jackson State, Miami (Ohio), Southern Miss, Tennessee State and Western Michigan. At this point, he is planning to visit one of those schools during the summer.
"I am supposed to go to visit FIU at some point this summer," Knight said. "I have been talking to Coach (Apollo) Wright. We are just talking about getting my ACT and my grades right because he wants me to come down there to play for them."

In addition to his offers, the 6-foot-2, 265-pound defensive tackle is also hearing from a few other schools.
"University of Florida, Louisville, and Clemson have been trying to get me to camps," Knight said. "Sometime this week I am supposed to go to a Florida camp."
At this stage in the process, Knight claims no leader amongst the schools that have offered or shown significant interest.
"There isn't any order at this time," Knight said. "I am just taking my time and thinking about everything right about now."
Knight said his primary focus during the summer is impoving in the classroom, where he claims a 2.3 GPA and has yet to attain the necessary test score.
"I am just focused on trying to get my grades right," Knight said.
When he isn't buried in the books, he is also going to work on sharpening his skills on the gridiron.
"I just plan on getting better in every way," Knight said. "I plan to improve my speed, using my hands, and just getting better."
