With the hiring of Mike Stoops at Arizona, it was unclear whether or not the Wildcats would take a few of their former commits from the previous coaching staff.
One player, the Wildcats wanted and appears to have hung on to is Los Angeles Locke two-star safety Michael Klyce.
Klyce took his official visit to Arizona last weekend and came away impressed.
“It was fun and it just solidified my decision to go there,” Klyce, who is 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, said. “I met with coach Stoops and he seemed like a really straight forward coach. He talks about winning and that’s what I wanted to hear. He knows what he wants to build and he talked about me being a part of it.”
Klyce said Washington has continued to attempt to recruit him, but he told the Husky coaches when they came by his house last week that he was solid on his decision and he’s through with the recruiting process.
