Kluener wanting to hear more

Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain two-star offensive guard Brandon Kluener is hoping for big news on Sept. 1. That's when the college coaches can call prospects for the first time since the end of the spring evaluation period. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder hopes he continues to garner more attention and add to his scholarship total.
"I kind of want to hear from Boston College and Eastern Michigan just because their coaching staffs are real nice," Kluener said. "I'd also like to hear from a few more MAC schools just because I'd like to be able to play wherever I go."

"I've been keeping in touch with Eastern Michigan the most. I still email them all the time. Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan are the two schools that have talked to me about an offer."
Kluener, who is 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds, said he's preparing to take in some games and unofficial visits.
"Whoever wants me to go and visit I'll go there," he said. "It's not that big of a deal for me. I'm supposed to go up to Eastern Michigan for their first home game against Ball State. It's going to be unofficial."
Kluener and his Colerain teammates got the season kicked off on the right foot this past Friday. He's now preparing for a monster match up against Hoover, Ala.
"We won 19-7 against Dayton Wayne," he said. "I thought I played pretty good. We had our mistakes, but I think I played good. We need to improve on some things but I think we'll win a state championship no doubt this year."
"This Saturday we're playing Hoover from Alabama at the Kirk Herbstreit Classic. We're pretty excited. They're going to be a tough opponent, probably the toughest one we've ever played."
Does he have a prediction about what's going to happen?
"The offenses are both powerful," he said. "But I think the defenses will step up. It'll be within a touchdown, I'll say 14-7 or 10-7."
