Kivlehan enjoys his visit to Rutgers

Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph's safety Patrick Kivlehan took an official visit to Rutgers this weekend. The 6-foot-1, 191-pounder headed to Piscataway without an offer. Did he improve his chances for getting one on the visit?
"I didn't get offered on the trip, but I had a good time I guess," he said. "It was the best visit I've been on so far.

"I got there on Friday night and toured the complex. Then on Saturday night we went to the ESPNZone in the city and then I had breakfast on Sunday before I left."
Kivlehan met with Coach Schiano on Saturday night.
"I talked with him at the ESPNZone," he said. "It was good. I had a one-on-one with him and he pretty much told me if a couple other kids say no that they may offer. He didn't want me to get my hopes up. He did talk about walk-on, but I told him if I don't get a scholarship I'll go elsewhere."
The Jersey safety plans to take an official to Rhode Island this weekend.
"I'm excited to see the place. I haven't been there."
Kivlehan posted 65 tackles, five interceptions and six blocked punts as a senior for St. Joseph's last season.
