Kirsch is taking visits
Recruiting is picking up for Washington (D.C.) St. John's College High offensive tackle Mitch Kirsch. The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder visited two schools and is eyeing a third trip coming up.
"I might go up to Temple on the 16th to check the campus out, but with baseball I'm not sure," he said. "They seem more interested than anyone so far."

Already Kirsch has visited North Carolina and Duke not too long ago.
"They were both great and both seemed very interested," he said. "I liked North Carolina over Duke just because the program is bigger at North Carolina."
Kirsch is gaining interest with interest coming from North Carolina, Temple and Colorado.
Does he like anybody?
"I love North Carolina," he said. "It's south, they have a great education, it's a big school with great coaching and a great team. I just got a good vibe when I was down there."
