Kirlew makes second trip

Orlando (Fla.) Cypress Creek defensive end Jammie Kirlew took an official visit to Boston College in early December. After returning from the visit he named the Eagles his leader. However, this weekend he took his second official visit, does he have a new leader?
"I took my official visit to Navy this weekend," Kirlew said. "Everything went real well up there. There were a lot of things that stood out to me about the visit. I really liked the coaches and I think it's a place where I could go in an maybe get some early playing time. I would still say though that Boston College is my leader."

The 6-foot-2, 217-pound Kirlew runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds and did 17 reps on the bench press at the Miami NIKE camp back in May.
"I am going to West Point next weekend to visit Army," Kirlew said. "I am still planning on visiting Central Florida on January 28. I may take a fifth official visit and if I do it would be to Georgia Tech, North Carolina or Florida. Georgia Tech is the only one of those three that have offered, but North Carolina has started recruiting me real hard lately."
As a junior Kirlew collected 112 tackles and five sacks en route to all-district and all-county honors.
"Right now the plan is take all of my visits before I decide anything," Kirlew said. "I really need time to think things over and let my visits set in. I just want to make an informed decision."
