Kirkland wants to see more

Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington four-star offensive tackle Denver Kirkland is in the middle of participating in some summer events.
"I went to Miami and we did UCF's camp as a team in June," Kirkland said. "I am going to Oregon (for The Opening). When I get back, I am going to Florida State the week after. I may go to some other schools, but I know I am going to Florida State."

Kirkland, who claims double-digit offers, remains wide open but admits he has built a strong relationship with a trio of in-state schools.
"I haven't narrowed it down yet," Kirkland said. "I am still looking at everybody. I talk the most with Miami, Florida State, and South Florida. I talk with the offensive line coach at each of those schools and feel like I have a good relationship with each of them."
The Rivals250 offensive lineman hasn't eliminated anybody yet though.
"I don't have a leader yet," Kirkland said. "I need to see more schools. I don't want to rush into anything before I get a chance to see all my options."
The 6-foot-4, 334-pound offensive tackle isn't in a rush to decide.
"I plan to take all of my official visits before I decide," Kirkland said.
Kirkland's offer list includes Auburn, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Ole Miss, Rutgers, South Florida, UCLA, USC, and West Virginia.
